活动简介

Please join us for the 33rd DASC in Colorado Springs, at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and in the shadow of Pike's Peak. The conference theme for the 33rd DASC focuses on the use of policy, economics, and technology to achieve multi-level resilience in aerospace and air transportation systems. In particular, plenary speakers and track themes will address the balance of component to system resilience and the trade-offs of performance, flexibility, design assurance, and safety at different levels of the air transportation system. This year's DASC continues the tradition of highlighting the latest trends in digital avionics through technical presentations, professional education courses, exhibits, and special events. The 33rd DASC will maintain its dual focus on onboard avionics and infrastructures that provide air navigation services. Within these domains, there are many emerging research, development, and analysis areas related to avionics equipage, aircraft interoperability, and ground-/space-based systems. Findings here can be significant drivers for both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) and the Single European Sky Air Traffic Management (ATM) Research (SESAR) technology roadmaps, but only if exposed in venues such as the DASC. As in past DASC successes, we will host exhibitors, highlight our conference sponsors, and provide a venue for publishing. We'll have acknowledged experts giving tutorials, senior representatives leading our plenary sessions, and international professionals for an interactive workshop environment. We will also continue our design competition for high school students. On behalf of the AIAA Digital Avionics Technical Committee and the IEEE Aerospace Electronics Systems Society, I encourage you to participate in this year's DASC if you are involved in any aspect of aviation or aerospace electronics. Through your participation, you will help to influence the future directions of industry, government, and academia as we all work together to transform flight.
