With the development of high voltage and large capacity transmission technology, safe and stable operation of transformer is very important. Partial discharge is the main cause of transformer insulation problem. At present, the multi-terminal electrical positioning method and the use of multi-conductor transmission lines to locate the partial discharge signal of low-voltage winding have developed and matured. For larger windings, the attenuation and distortion of the detection port signal are more serious, and the effectiveness of electrical positioning methods such as polarity method needs to be verified. Therefore, the research on winding scale effect is of great significance, which is of guiding significance for the research on the positioning method of high voltage transformer.
