Research on multi-factor aging characteristics of GIS solid insulation

Based on the aging characteristics of electrical, thermal, and mechanical stress and the empirical model of multi-factor aging characteristics of Simoni and T.S. Ramu, this paper analyzes the aging aspects of electrical, thermal, and vibration multi-factor aging of GIS post insulator. The single factor aging process obeys Weibull distribution. In the multi-factor aging process, the aging factors meet specific characteristics of mutual promotion. This paper quantitatively explores the changes of the E-L characteristic curve under different electric field conditions, E-L and S-L features under different temperature conditions, and S-L and T-L characteristics under other vibration acceleration conditions. Finally, the above elements are summarized. In the process of multi-factor aging, the single-factor aging characteristics are met. The acceleration of electrical, thermal, and mechanical vibration promote each other between aging tests. Based on Ramu's multi-factor aging empirical model, the multi-factor aging factor coefficient of the GIS post insulator is calculated. It is obtained that the aging characteristics of the multi-factor aging test are not fixed, and the aging aspects of a single factor are affected by the other two elements.
