The Gordon Research Seminar on Physical Organic Chemistry is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The research presented at this seminar will demonstrate the wide breadth of concepts in physical organic chemistry and allow attendees to familiarize themselves with the topics covered at the subsequent Gordon Research Conference. The friendly and collegial atmosphere of the seminar will support discussion of cutting edge science and foster the development of a diverse community of early-career scientists who are ready to take full advantage of the stimulating environment provided by the GRC. Poster presentations and discussion sessions will focus on an array of topics including, but not limited to, supramolecular chemistry, spectroscopy, carbon rich molecules, catalysis, computational chemistry, free radical chemistry, materials chemistry and synthesis.
With the resounding success of the first two GRS sessions for this conference, we look forward to you joining us in this tradition to kick off the GRC.
