The Gordon Research Seminar on Nuclear Chemistry is a unique gathering for graduate students, post-docs and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education that provides an open forum for the presentation of new data, and exchange of cutting edge ideas.
The focus of this meeting is to assemble the next generation of nuclear scientists such that they can discuss their current research, with topics spanning nuclear structure, nuclear reactions and nuclear astrophysics, as well as cutting-edge topics on the frontiers of nuclear physics. Additionally, a career panel discussion will showcase scientists with a nuclear physics background who chose varying career paths, including academia and industry. The career panel will provide an excellent opportunity for the next generation of nuclear scientists to gain insight into what it takes to build a successful career.
