The theme of the conference is: Design, execution, monitoring and interpretation of deep foundation methods. Focus is on the presentation and discussion of the state-of-practice and new developments in the area of deep foundations. Invited lectures will be given by leading international experts in their field. Particular emphasis will be on the discussion and exchange of practical experience and the application of research results in practice.

A highlight of the conference is the presentation of the results of loading tests on single piles and a pile group from the Bolivian Experimental Site for Testing Piles (B.E.S.T.)., where more than 12 different technologies of piles will be installed, tested and monitored. Even a full scale piled raft will be tested.

An exhibition including field demonstrations will be arranged with the participation of leading manufacturers of foundation equipment and machines. 

Prior to the conference, short courses will be held on topics related to the design and execution of deep Foundations.
