Papers:
The papers up to 10 pages are to be written in MS Word. Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere. The submissions will be peer reviewed by members of the program committee. The authors of accepted papers will have to improve their paper on the basis of the reviewer’s comments and will be asked to send a camera ready version of their manuscripts. The reviewing process will be double-blind, please omit information about the authors in the submitted paper. It is assumed that one participant will present not more than one talk. 

Proceedings: 
All the accepted papers will be presented orally and meanwhile as a poster in the program and will be published in the proceedings of the IESM’16 Conference being available on-line through Civilica, which is an Iranian database of Conference papers. Moreover, all the accepted papers are subject to select to submit their extended version for publication in International Journal of Engineering (ISSN: 1025-2495) indexed in SCOPUS and EBSCO, after one more round of review. Awards: 
The International Advisory Committee will select the best presented papers for two distinctions: (1) The Best Student Paper Award, (2) The Best Senior Paper Award. The names of the winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the conference. Moreover, a contest will be held for the best PhD and MSc. dissertations/ thesis with the sustainability-related subjects. The dissertation/ thesis must be successfully defended during last three years. The 1st prize will include a travel allowance (transportation, accommodation, and foods) to Isfahan worth 500 USD. Other selected dissertation/ thesis will be rewarded in the closing ceremony of the conference. Due date to submit the abstracts is 22 September 2016. The Contest starts on October 22, 2016 and closes on November, 5 2016. The results will be announced before November 20, 2016. 

About Isfahan: 
Isfahan is the capital of Isfahan Province in Iran, located about 340 kilometers (211 miles) south of Tehran. It is the second most populous metropolitan area in Iran after Tehran. Isfahan is located on the main north–south and east–west routes crossing Iran, and was once one of the largest cities in the world. It was the capital of IRAN for more than 200 years in the Safavid dynasty. The Naghsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan is one of the largest city squares in the world and an outstanding example of Iranian and Islamic architecture. It has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The city also has a wide variety of historic monuments and is known for the paintings, history and architecture. Isfahan City Center is also the 5th largest shopping mall in the world, which is located in this city, mixing the traditional Isfahanian architecture with the modern one.
