The conference will take place at McGill University and will be organized in partnership with the University of Waterloo. McGill University was established in 1821, and is one of the major research centres in Canada. It is located in the heart of downtown Montréal. The airport of Montréal is an important hub in North America and can be easily reached from all over the world.
Multibody dynamics as an engineering discipline has become an important tool for virtual prototyping, machine design and computeraided analysis of complex articulated mechanical systems. Multibody dynamics comprises a number of aspects, including mechanics, structural dynamics, applied mathematics, control methods, computer science and mechatronics. The purpose of the conference is to serve as a meeting point for the international multibody community.
