Mechatronic design can result in products which are much simpler than their intricate and costly predecessors and can make commonplace the miracle of yesterday. Machine vision has emerged from the laboratory among other sophisticated sensors to find real applications in multimedia, and with ease of interfacing it offers a whole new field of low-cost vision-based mechatronic designing.
In recent years, with new mechatronic concepts continuously introduced, such as wearable and soft mechatronics devices, there is a great demands of mechatronics education. And being the backstage hero, with the popularization of robotics and 3D printing, mechatronics research will become more and more active.
Following the success of its 22 predecessors, M2VIP 2016, to be held in Nanjing, one of the greatest capital cities of ancient times in China, will provide a dynamic forum for international experts and researchers to present and review advances in mechatronics and machine vision which have culminated in practical applications, or which promise practical implementation in the very near future.
The topics covered in the conference will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Actuator and smart materials based driving technology
Aeronautical mechatronics
Agricultural mechatronics
Applied robotics including those manipulative, mobile, walking, flying, humanoid and bio-inspired
Artificial and computational intelligence
