The Southeast Michigan IEEE community cordially invites you to join us at the Courtyard Marriott Detroit Downtown, a landmark location on the Detroit riverfront, to take part in the review of existing and drafting of new standards for the electrical power systems that power most of the world’s economies.

During the meeting, which will take part during the I&CPS 2016 Conference, working groups will address a full range of industrial and commercial power systems, addressing issues of reliability, economy and system maintenance. In addition, leading experts in the electrical engineering and system design will present and respond to technical papers on a number of pertinent issues. Engineers interested in learning about or assisting with resolving these issues are welcome to participate.

As with past conferences held in the Detroit Area the local committee is making an extensive effort to ensure that members, their spouses and family who attend have a memorable time. In addition to the host of engineering meetings and workshops at the conference, the Detroit area offers a wide range of cultural activities for our non-engineering guests as well.
