ICUWB是无线宽带领域的高级别国际学术会议。作为IEEE MTT-S组织的系列会议,每年举办一次。此会议致力交流在微波毫米波、太赫兹、以及光波上无线超宽带技术、系统和应用的最新进展。此前历年的举办地为美国巴尔的摩(2002), 美国拉斯维加斯(2003), 芬兰奥卢(2003), 日本京都(2004), 瑞士苏黎世(2005), 波兰华沙(2006), 新加坡(2007), 德国汉诺威(2008), 加拿大温哥华(2009), 中国南京(2010), 意大利博洛尼亚(2011), 美国雪城(2012), 澳大利亚悉尼(2013), 法国巴黎(2014), 加拿大蒙特利尔(2015)。 会议采用网上投稿、网上审稿和网上注册方式。会议期间将同时举办“2016年微波通信科技成果与产品展”,欢迎有关企业、研究单位和大学到会展示最新成果和产品。
