Solar and wind-powered generation are rapidly increasing in Australasia. Battery storage and electric vehicles are also emerging. Distributed connection of these new technologies to the medium/low voltage network together with their intermittency and different characteristics, can cause power system security and quality issues. New techniques to model and mitigate the impacts of these game-changing technologies on the operation of power system are a key focus of this conference. It will bring together industry practitioners and researchers involved in planning, operation and optimisation of power system of the future.
