Based on the success of 2015 event, we are proud to bring to the Kitakyushu again, the 2016 3rd Int. Conf. on Power and Energy Systems Engineering (CPESE 2016) and 2016 2nd International Conference on Renewable Energy and Development (ICRED 2016). Organized and hosted by Kyushu Institute of Technology, sponsored by Kitakyushu City and IEEJ. This event will be held during September 8-10.
Kitakyushu acted as a node connecting Japan with Asian continent in the old days and played a great role in Japanese modern industrialization. Today as the leading international trading port in west Japan and domestic physical distribution base, it continues to contribute herself to the industry and economic development of Kyushu and Yamaguchi area other than Kitakyushu city only. Furthermore, with the geographic benefits of proximity to the Asian continent it has become a main port to connect rapid growing Asian countries. In 1960s, Kitakyushu was badly polluted, for years Pollution abatement, Kitakyushu changed its face. It is significant to have this event in Kitakyushu, CPESE is a global event focused on Power and Energy Systems Engineering. The support and participation of our membership and scholar has made it possible for CPESE to continue to be the positive activities in Japan.
