Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research and Actuarial Science play important roles in providing solutions to technical and managerial problems. When applied correctly, they provide optimal solutions to difficult problems, and hence, enhance the chances of making the right decisions. ICSSBE2015 bring together mathematicians, statisticians, operations researchers and actuarial scientists onto a single platform in an effort to enhance development in these areas. The Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia together with our co-organizers Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Group, University of Macau, University of Wollongong, Centre for Education Research, University Kebangsaan Malaysia and several societies which include IEEE Computer Society, MSORSM and SDIWC have taken this initiative to organize the 2nd International Conference on Statistical Applications in Science, Business and Engineering ICSSBE2015) to be held from 2nd – 3rd September 2015, in PULLMAN HOTEL, PUTRAJAYA. In addition to the regular presentations, some post-conference workshops will also be held.
