。全民食盐加碘（USI）是我国为了控制和消除碘缺乏病采取的一项营养干预政策，USI实施以来我国居民的碘营养水平得到明显改善，但我国地理环境复杂多样，随着居民碘营养的改善，我国先后多次下调了盐碘浓度以适应新的形势。但是其中特殊人群包括孕妇等碘需要量与普通成人不同，在预防人群碘摄入过量危害时，往往难以满足孕妇这一碘缺乏易感人群对碘的特殊需求而使之面临更大的风险之中。如何在复杂多样的环境下长期、科学地实施USI政策，安全有效地保障我国普通居民及孕妇等特殊人群碘营养需要仍然是目前我们面临的一个重大难题。为了广泛吸取国内外碘干预的经验和策略，探讨适合我国国情的USI实施策略，由天津市科学技术协会资助，天津市微量元素学会、天津市营养学会、天津市内分泌研究所、天津医科大学公共卫生学院联合主办的"USI背景下科学持久地实施食盐补碘技术与策略"国际研讨会，定于2014年10月16日8:30AM在天津医科大学隆德厅召开。 。。欢迎相关领域的专家学者、广大医生、教师和同学们莅临并积极参与学术交流和研讨。 。。Biosketch 。。Mary R. L'Abbé, PhD is the Earle W. McHenry Professor and Chair, Department of Nutritional Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, where she leads a research group on Food and Nutrition Policy for Population Health. Dr. L'Abbéis an expert in public health nutrition, nutrition policy, and food and nutrition regulations. Her research examines the nutritional quality of the Canadian food supply, food intake patterns,and consumer surveys of food choices related to obesity and chronic disease. 。。Dr. L'Abbé was co-chair of the Canadian Trans Fat Task Force, led the Trans Fat Monitoring Program and served as Chair and vice-Chair of the Canadian Sodium Working Group.She is a member of the C-CHANGE initiative harmonizing Canadian medical guidelines for cardiovascular disease,the PAHO regional expert group on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention through Dietary Salt Reduction, and a member of the World Health Organization Nutrition Guidance Expert Advisory Group on Diet and Health. 。。Dr. L'Abbé is the former Director of the Bureau of Nutritional Sciences at Health Canada, where she was responsible for Health Canada's nutrition laboratory research, surveillance, and regulatory programs aimed at the maintenance and improvement of the nutritional quality of the food supply and health of Canadians. She also served as Canadian Head of Delegation to the Codex Alimentarius Committees on Nutrition and on Food Labelling and coordinated Canada's role with the US for the development of Dietary Reference Intakes. 。。Dr. L'Abbé holds a PhD in nutrition from McGill University and has authored over 150 peer-reviewed scientific publications, book chapters and government reports. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Centrum young scientist award, the Earle W. McHenry award for outstanding contributions to nutrition in Canada, the World Hypertension League Notable Achievement in Dietary Salt Reduction, Crampton Award for Leadership in Nutrition, and the Queen's Golden Jubilee Commemorative Medal. 。。国外专家介绍： 。。Mary R. McHenry 颁发的Centrum Young Scientist Award，World Hypertension League Notable Achievement in Dietary Salt Reduction, Crampton Award, Queen's Golden Jubilee Commemorative Medal等。 。。Biosketch 。。Elizabeth Pearce, M.D, M.Sc. received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Harvard University and a masters' degree in epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and her fellowship in endocrinology at the Boston University Medical Center. She is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine in the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Nutrition. She has served on the editorial boards for Endocrine Practice, Thyroid, the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology. She was a member of the board of directors of the American Thyroid Association from 2009-2012. She is a member of the Management Council of the International Council for the Control of Iodine Deficiency Disorders. She is currently co-chair of the American Thyroid Association's Thyroid in Pregnancy Guidelines Task Force. Her research interests include iodine nutrition and metabolism, thyroid function in pregnancy, the thyroid effects of environmental perchlorate exposure, and the cardiovascular effects of subclinical thyroid dysfunction.
