Donostia International Conference on Nanoscaled Magnetism and Applications (DICNMA) will be held in the conference centre of “Palacio Miramar” in San Sebastian from September 9th till 13th, 2013.
The conference will cover all the aspects related with new developments in magnetism, applications and associated technologies. The program of the Symposium will comprise plenary, semi-plenary and invited lectures from leading experts in the field of magnetism and applications, oral and poster presentations and exhibits dealing with the latest developments in magnetism.
We plan to publish plenary, semi-plenary and invited paper in Physica Status Solidi (a) indexed by ISI after regular review process. Additionally contributed papers from the conference after reviewing will be published in the special issue of J. Spintronics and Magnetic Nanomaterials (www.aspbs.com/jsm). Only one paper per registered participant will be published.
DICNMA will provide a good opportunity for researchers to exchange ideas and discuss hot topics with colleagues. It is a good chance for students and young researchers to meet and have discussion with scientists recognized world-wide. Researchers working in the fields of magnetism, applications, materials science, physics, chemistry and engineering are encouraged to contribute to the conference. The conference working language is English.
During the past 15 years San Sebastian hosted several conferences such as Magnetism of Nanophase materials (1998), Recent Research on Novel Magnetic Structures and Their Applications (2000), International Workshop on magnetic wires (2001), Third Joint European Magnetic Symposia, JEMS-2006, International Workshop on magnetic wires (2008), and Recent Trends on Nanomagnetism, Spintronics and Applications (RTNSA-2011). It is our hope that the tradition of holding international scientific events in Donostia-San Sebastián will continue.
