活动简介

Blockchain is a unique technology and a fundamental concept of computer science. Moreover, Blockchain has proven itself to be instrumental for many applications, ranging from financial to governmental services. In many ways, this transformed applications and development to rethinking the how information is distributed and processed over its infrastructure. While the majority of these applications are in the financial domain, key opportunities lie in connecting infrastructural services, such as Cloud, Fog and Edge computing with blockchain to create and provide new applications and services.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners working in distributed systems, cryptography, and security from both academia and industry, who are interested in the technology and theory of blockchains and their protocols. The workshop will provide the international research community with a venue to discuss and present the requirements of blockchain fundamentals and applications and to bring forward new designs that meet new requirements. We encourage contributions that analyze a large variety of blockchain applications from a network, storage and computational perspective to understand how they may take full advantage. The program will consist of submitted papers and one or more invited speakers presenting recent results in the area of blockchains, which could be of interest also to the audience of CloudCom 2018.

Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit research and application papers according the following guidelines: two columns, single-spaced, including figures and references, using 10 pt fonts and number each page.

We solicit the submission of research papers (6 pages) representing original, previously unpublished work. Submitted papers will be evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.

Duplicate submissions are not allowed. A submission is considered to be a duplicate submission if it has been submitted to (or if it has been already accepted to be published in) other conferences/workshops/journals. Duplicate submissions thus will be automatically rejected without review.

Contact author must provide the following information: Paper title, authors' names, affiliations, and e-mail address of the author(s), about 200-250 word abstract, and about five keywords. Formatting instructions for the paper submission are available on the conference website.

Paper registration and submission is done through the EasyChair Paper Management System at the following address: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=rbchain2018

Submission of a paper implies that should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register for the CloudCom conference and present the paper in the workshop. No-show papers will be removed from the digital library after the workshop. Guidelines in preparing and submitting the final manuscript(s) will be given after the notification of acceptance.
