Educational Sciences International Conference (ESIC) is an international conference devoted to the educational theory and practice, especially on teaching and learning. The aim of ESIC is to facilitate a chance for educational academicians, researchers and professionals with cross-disciplinary interests to fill the cutting edge of the knowledge by presenting their works.

The conference will be held on 25 – 26 October, 2018 in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

The focus of this sub-theme are on language planning & language policy, language teaching methodologies & approaches, language curriculum, syllabus design, & materials development, language assessment & evaluation, second language acquisition & literacy development, language for academic/specific purpose, language teacher education & professional development, digital literacy/language learning & technology, intercultural communication & global competition, language learner anatomy and identity, discourse/genre analysis, creativity & critical literacy, and teaching language to young learners.
