The AQIS’18 conference will focus on quantum information processing, communication and cryptography, an interdisciplinary field bridging quantum physics, computer science, mathematics, and information technologies. AQIS’18 will be a natural successor of EQIS’01-EQIS’05 and AQIS’06-AQIS’17. AQIS’18 will consist of tutorials, invited talks, selected oral and poster presentations, as well as other activities.
Contributions are solicited in (but not limited to) the following areas:
A submission to AQIS consists of an extended abstract (max. length 3 pages, 11- or 12-point font, excluding references), containing a non-technical, clear and insightful description of the results and main ideas, their impact, and their importance to quantum information and computation. In addition, the extended abstract may refer to a technical version of the work, either posted to an online repository, such as arXiv.org, or uploaded as an appendix after the extended abstract. The technical version will be considered only at the discretion of the program committee. In all cases, the total submission must be uploaded as a single file.
Extended abstracts should be prepared using the LaTeX template provided by the conference at this link.
Submissions deviating significantly from these guidelines may be rejected without consideration of their merits.
Contributions must be submitted electronically via the submission website. AQIS18 uses the EasyChair System to manage paper submissions.
A submission is eligible only if the main author(s) is/are student(s), and at least 60% of the work has been done by the student(s), including a majority of the key ideas. The PC chair reserves the right to ask for any clarifications regarding the student(s) contributions at any time. Eligibility should be indicated at the time of submission by adding the sentence “THIS PAPER IS ELIGIBLE FOR BEST STUDENT POSTER AWARD” at the end of the abstract field provided by the EasyChair submission page.
