This is the second meeting of this series, after the first one in Beijing, summer of 2017 (http://2017gde.csp.escience.cn/dct/page/1). It will be the occasion to bring together an active group of researchers in differential geometry, complex algebraic geometry, differential equations and adjacent fields, in an environment conducive to the exchange of ideas, for the purpose of stimulating further research in this broad and dynamic field. The symposium Shanghai is one of the center places in the mathematics study in China. 

ShanghaiTech University is a small-scale research university of academic excellence jointly established by Shanghai Municipal Government and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMS) at ShanghaiTech University will commence in Fall 2018. The mission of the institute is to cultivate a new generation of creative talents in all areas of mathematics.
