The Gordon Research Seminar on Hormone-Dependent Cancers is a 2-day conference that is specifically geared towards supporting graduate students, postdocs, and other scientists with comparable levels of education. This meeting enables trainees the ability to share their research, freely ask questions and engage their peers, and meet leaders within their field.
The focus of this meeting is twofold: to understand the basic mechanisms of drug resistance across breast (all subtypes), prostate, ovarian, and other hormone-dependent cancers, and to highlight innovative therapeutic strategies that could offer additional and alternative therapeutic options for these diseases. In this unique forum, participants are able to a) present unpublished data in a friendly and safe environment that will foster scientific discussions and collaborations b) focus on career development via a keynote presentation and diverse career panel consisting of various leaders from academia, industry, and other areas and c) engage and network with senior scientists and mentors.
