The 21st century healthcare professionals should have global credentials yet sensitive to cultural and local values and needs. To be borderless, health professions education has to look at international accreditation and standards, models of health professions education partnership and their impact on healthcare services, the use of technology-enhanced learning in promoting personalised learning, assessments, interprofessional education and healthcare equity and distribution.
