The Department of Political Science and Public Management at the University of Southern Denmark hosts the 18th Nordic Political Science Congress in 2017. The conference features a political communication workshop organized jointly by the Centre for Journalism at the University of Southern Denmark and Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen, Norway.

The workshop focuses on the changing landscape of political communication, caused by advancing digitalization of communication processes and a loss in relevance of and trusts in traditional news media outlets.
