The organizing committee from The Society for Hair Science Research (SHSR) and The Japan Society of Clinical Hair Restoration (JSCHR) is pleased to invite you to the 10th World Congress for Hair Research (WCHR), which will take place from October 31 to November 3, 2017 at the Kyoto International Conference Center. It is our great honor once again to host an international hair meeting following our hosting of the very first international hair meeting in Japan as well as The 3rd Intercontinental Meeting of Hair Research Societies in Tokyo.
The number and membership of hair societies is ever increasing. The 10th WCHR will bring together hair biologists, tissue engineers, dermatologists, aesthetic scientists, and hair transplantation surgeons worldwide to the historical city of Kyoto with the aim of “visiting the old, finding the new,” as a Japanese proverb says—in other words, to present new knowledge, techniques and approaches for the advancement of hair-related science, while also reviewing the past activities of hair research societies, educational lectures, and clinical case reports for new insights. The congress program will include keynote lectures, plenary and concurrent sessions, scientific posters, clinical workshops, sponsored seminars, and more.
Kyoto during the Autumn is especially noteworthy for its beauty; we do hope that you will all be able to attend, not only so that you may enjoy the exciting program we have planned for you, but also so that you may have a chance to enjoy the lovely environs of this ancient city in the Fall.
