Aims and Objectives
Following the successful, 4th International Conference on Global e-Security, ICGeS-08 in June 2008, we have much pleasure in announcing the 5th International Conference on Global Security, Safety & Sustainability, ICGS3’09 (formerly ICGeS). This Annual International Conference is an established platform and aims to attract an International audience to provide a forum for the dissemination of research accomplishments and promote interaction and collaboration between the researchers and practitioners in the field; to meet and discuss current and future needs and issues.
Theme and Scope
The three days conference will focus on the challenges of complexity, rapid pace of change and risk/opportunity issues associated with modern products, systems, special events and infrastructures. The importance of adopting systematic and systemic approaches to the assurance of these systems will be emphasized within a special stream focused on strategic frameworks, architectures and human factors. The conference will provide an opportunity for systems scientists, assurance researchers, owners, operators and maintainers of large, complex and advanced systems and infrastructures to update their knowledge with the state of best practice in these challenging domains whilst networking with the leading researchers and solution providers. The conference is planned around six main streams over three days as follows:
The committee is particularly interested in hearing about relevant case studies and “best practices” on any of the above.
Paper Submission
Prospective authors are strongly encouraged to submit a full six page paper (A4 size) by the due date electronically in word and PDF or Postscript format.
