活动简介

The theme of the conference is “Exploring Advances in Automobile Engineering”. Over the past two decades, India has established itself as a leader in information technology. However, the subsequent economic boom has also resulted in an exponential increase in motorisation, urban traffic congestion and deterioration of air quality in the Indian megacities. The characteristics of Indian roads and traffic make the problem interesting to solve. With a robust IT and telecom infrastructure in place, India stands to gain from the use of ITS to alleviate many transport related urban issues. Such technologies can be used either at a vehicular or infrastructural level. The automotive industry in India is one of the largest in the world with an annual production of 23.37 million vehicles in 2014-15, following a growth of 8.68 per cent over the last year. The automobile industry accounts for 7.1 per cent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP). India is also a prominent auto exporter and has strong export growth expectations for the near future. The automobile manufacturing and service industry facing variety of challenges in all the stages. The aim of the conference is to explore the possibility of implementing Intelligent Transport System in all the traffic related regions to provide easy and safe traffic region in all the places and to provide solutios to the variety of issues arised from the Automobile manufacturing and service industries and to enhance the infrasture.
