The Open Source Monitoring Conference in Nuremberg is the worlds` leading Conference in the field of Open Source Monitoring solutions, and takes place from the 29th of November to the 2nd of December in Nuremberg. The organizer NETWAYS presents the first highlights of the program.
The conference on the subject Open Source monitoring offers an outstanding program. The spectrum of presentations ranges from beginner subjects to monitoring solutions for huge IT-environments and cluster- systems. Some of the speakers for this bilingual conference are Elastic Beats co-creator Monica Sarbu as well as the Technical Product Owner of Spotify, Mehrdad H. Abadi.
The organizer NETWAYS is looking forward to again welcome international open source professionals to the OSMC. Among others Fabian Reinarz, software engineer at CoreOS, will talk about alerting with Time Series. Shlomi Zadok, senior software engineer at Red Hat and member of the Foreman team, will be present with his speech on Foreman. Furthermore Michael Medin, will introduce automated monitoring with Icinga and NSClient to the attendees, and Remo Rickli, who made his own software NeDi fit for business by founding NeDi Consulting, will give a presentation.
To supplement the conference program, four in-depth workshops are offered on the subjects Icinga 2, Advanced Graphing, Elastic Stack and GIT. A Hackathon, enabling the attendees to develop their own projects, will wrap up the event. The workshops as well as the Hackathon are additionally bookable to the conference packages offered.
The steadily growing international conference takes place for the 11th time in Nuremberg, and has been the worlds` most successful conference on open source monitoring for a decade.
