活动简介
More than two-third of synthetic polymers are semi-crystalline. In Nature, many biopolymers such as cellulose, starch, silk and PHB are also semi-crystalline. Polymer crystallization is an important issue in both condensed physics of soft matter and materials science of chemical fibers. In continuation of the successful series of biennial Discussion Meetings on Polymer Crystallization in the Black Forest, Germany, we will organize again a Workshop on Polymer Crystallization, which will bring together scientists and students from macromolecular physics, engineering and chemistry which are active in this important field. New results from computer simulations and theoretical evaluations together with novel experimental observations are continuing to stimulate new views, partially following or in conflict with conventional wisdom. These new ideas and approaches will be thoroughly discussed during the meeting in the context of current works.
