Another update for you on the preparations for the FOOT International Congress from June 23 to June 25, 2016 in Berlin, this time with information on the current status of registrations.
Currently, we have around 600 pre-registered attendees, a quite impressive number which reflects the general interest in the various foot and ankle-related topics. We have a fully international list with currently 50 nations being represented. As could have been expected, the majority (>75%) comes from over 25 European countries. However, we are proud and glad to see that there are also larger groups of participants from Asia (>50), South America (>30), North America (>20), Oceania (~15) and even 5 participants from Africa.
Furthermore, we would like to point out the International Guest Session on Friday, June 24, at 14:30 h. We are looking forward to listening to three highly distinguished speakers:
Charlie Saltzman will talk about the ’Role of plantar plate and surgical reconstruction techniques’.
Cristian Ortiz will provide insights in ‘Tendon transfers in the cavovarus foot’.
Josh Burns will present on ‘Biomechanics of the Pes Cavus.
Furthermore, please be aware that we will also offer accompanying seminars, early morning workshops and industry lunch workshops.
As mentioned before, there are several options with guided tours in and around Berlin to encounter the rich history of the city and the region, during and after the congress. So take an extra day, plan ahead, and make your reservations to see what the city and the region have to offer.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Berlin in a couple of weeks!
