On behalf of the International Symposium on Seed, Transplant and Stand Establishment (SEST) it is a privilege and pleasure to invite you to SEST 2016, the Seed Indaba Africa, which is the 7th SEST Symposium hosted by the ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Sciences).

It will be held from the 11th to the 14th of September 2016. The venue is the beautiful Accolades Boutique Hotel in Centurion, which is ideally placed half way between Johannesburg and Pretoria, and an easy commute on the Gautrain from OR Tambo International Airport. It is also perfectly positioned to access excellent places of interest for the pre-conference Field Excursion, as well as pre or post conference Safaris to take in the beautiful wildlife that South Africa has to showcase.

The Seed Indaba Africa will be a wonderful platform to interact with seed researchers and colleagues from many different countries.

The symposium will be an opportunity to show-case the cutting edge of seed technology, with many international speakers. The programme will cover a wide range of topics on seed and technology issues to encompass international priorities and aims and will run over 3 days with various scientific sessions.
