After the success of the first edition of "The International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies, ICEIT 2015" held in Marrakech, l'ENSET- Rabat and ENSIAS co-organize the 2nd edition of ICEIT which will be held in TANGIER, Morocco in 4-7 May, 2016 . This event is co-sponsored by IEEE and IEEE Morocco section.

The ICEIT 2016 conference is intended to be a venue to foster knowledge exchange and expertise and technology transfer among Electrical Engineering and information technology communities from academia, industry and government. ICEIT spans two inter-related research domains that increasingly play a key role in many emerging technologies. Green Energy, smart grid, smart cities,Mobile phones, internet, Internet of Things... would not have been possible without Electrical and information technologies.

Furthermore, these technologies were instrumental for the technological revolution that has shaped modern societies, solved many of its development problems and contributed to its economical unprecedented growth and social welfare. Hence, ICEIT 2016 main objective is to address, explore and exchange information on the state-of-the-art in all types of Electrical and Information Technologies.

Tangier, the conference venue, is the up most fascinating and legendary city of Morocco’s imperial cities. We also believe that it is a wonderful place to welcome our participants and guests to this important event.
