The Asian Chemical Congress (ACC) is held biannually under the auspices of the Federation of Asian Chemical Societies (FACS) which comprises of 28 chemical societies of the nations in the Asia Pacific region. The objective of ACC is to gather the scientists of Asia Pacific zone to share their recent research activities in building up a strong scientific community that can contribute to serve the people in this region.

The upcoming 16 ACC will be dedicated to the betterment of the humanity through the advancement of science and technology. Whatever it is around us are deeply connected with Chemistry. Beginning from dawn to dusk and from using toothpaste in the morning to the space ship, chemistry is being appeared in new dimension so as to ease our daily lives. If healthy food, hygienic environment and digital society are the catalysts for peaceful earth, then the knowledge of chemistry and its wide implementation would surely create the path for all the human beings to live high comfort. Thus 慍hemistry for Humanity� has been chosen to be the theme for 16 ACC.

Systematic and innovative techniques for industrial waste management can give us relief to breath in clean environment even with growing industrialization.
