Radar 2017 is making a welcome return to the UK for the first time since 2012, and its first ever visit to Northern Ireland. As the world’s premier international radar conference, it will showcase the latest developments in all aspects of radar systems for civil, security and defence applications.

"Radar technology pervades our society and contributes greatly to our safety and security, with applications ranging from military defence systems to air and land traffic management, weather forecasting and remote sensing.

"The role of radar in tomorrow’s world will be no less significant. The development of radar over the last century has been characterised by outstanding innovation and teamwork between industry, academia and government laboratories, an approach which will continue to be essential to meet the major technical challenges of the future.
