Rare earth elements are the collection of seventeen chemical elements in the periodic table, namely scandium, yttrium and the lanthanide series. They are incorporated into many modern technological devices, including superconductors, miniaturized magnets, electronic polishers, refining catalysts and hybrid car components, etc.
International Conference on Rare Earth Development and Application (ICRE) is a series international conference organized by China, the USA, and Europe, alternately. Since 1985, the Chinese Society of Rare Earths (CSRE) has successfully organized seven international conferences. More than 300 scholars, experts and entrepreneurs participated in the latest conference (ICRE’2013) in Jiangxi, China.
In order to promote rare earth science and technology, CSRE is very glad and honored to hold the 8th International Conference on Rare Earth Development and Application (ICRE’2016) in Lanzhou in August, 2016.
As a main producer and supplier of rare earth raw materials and products, China is always interested in the development of rare earth industry around the world. ICRE’2016 will be a great gathering of global rare earth scientists, engineers and directors, and offer an opportunity to exchange information on development and application of rare earth.
