The International Biotechnology and Agriculture Summit (BAS) is a top-ranked academic conference in the international biotechnology and agriculture sector, that was founded in 2008. We proudly announce that the 2015 BAS is being hosted by the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission (BMSTC) and jointly organized by the Beijing Pharma and Biotech Center (BPBC) along with the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. BAS 2015 is scheduled to be held in Four Points by Sheraton Beijing, Haidian Hotel from August 26th to 28th, 2015. The theme for this conference is “The 8th Biotechnology and Agriculture Summit: Food Safety and Genomics”. The distinguished speakers will present new research and industry-relevant topics in 8 sessions that include Next Generation Sequencing in food safety, food security, implementation of genomics and food animals, and the intersection of NGS in public health and food animals. Speakers represent China CDC, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Food and Drug Administration, FDA, Beijing Agricultural University, Nanjing Agriculture University, Oxford University, University of Guelph, Canada. It is expected that nearly 250 experts (about 100 foreign guests) from the famous internal and international enterprises and scientific research institutes will attend this meeting.
