Throughout human history, natural products have been used as a means of improving human health. Scientific investigation of these molecules and the biological pathways with which they interact has had a far-reaching impact on fundamental chemistry and biology and has led to enormous advances in human health. The 64th Gordon Research Conference on Natural Products will feature presentations of cutting-edge science from a diverse group of scientists in the fields of organic synthesis, chemical biology, natural product isolation, biosynthesis, medicinal chemistry, methodology development, and process chemistry. The meeting will provide opportunities for in depth scientific discussions and sharing unpublished results in both formal and informal settings. The poster sessions are essential to the success of the Natural Products GRC. The innovative research, scientific discussions and social interactions surrounding these informal presentations are, in many ways, the heart of the conference. All conferees are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentation. Abstracts (1 page maximum) with title, authors and affiliation(s)/address(es) should be submitted to the 2015 Chair, Steve Olson, and the 2015 Vice Chair, Rich Taylor, as part of formal application through the GRC online site. Posters will be selected for short talks to be presented by their primary authors during the conference. Like last year, the meeting will be held at the Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire. The site offers outstanding staff and a relaxed setting that is ideally suited for dynamic scientific discussions and an abundant opportunity for recreation.
