Modeling and computation promise possible solutions, even breakthroughs, for exploring new materials and advanced technology in the near future. Through the achieved agreement between the Chinese Society of Metals (CSM) and the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS), the Institute of Metal Research (IMR), Chinese Academy of Sciences is hosting this upcoming CDSM 2015. It will bring together leading scientists of computational materials working on the state-of-the-art developments and forefront of materials sciences and engineering to exchange idea, to stimulate discussion, to communicate latest progresses and even to outline future directions.
