IEEE PES APPEEC is a well-established technical conference and one of the most important power and energy engineering conferences in the Asia-Pacific region attracting a broad array of participants. The conference aims to provide a platform for electrical engineers and scientists in universities and research centres, and industry to present their works, to share experiences and ideas in the area of power and energy engineering. The first APPEEC 2009 conference was successfully held in March 2009 in Wuhan. Since then, APPEEC has been done a lot of work in promoting the information exchange in power and energy engineering in the Asia-Pacific region. APPEEC is growing to be the premier platform for exchange of ideas and sharing of best practices among the power and energy practitioners and researchers in this part of the world.
