The MSCC workshop is intended to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners in current participatory sensing, computing and communication from academia, industry, and service providers, to share ideas, experiences, and practical implementations related to new MSCC technologies and applications. Both position and working-in-progress papers are encouraged. To that end, papers are solicited from all MSCC related areas involving the interactions or integrations of massive sensing data with advanced computing and communication solutions.including, but not limited to the following topics:
Innovative service architecture and designs
Quality of sensing data and “Big Data” oriented storage architecture
Performance evaluation and measurement of services and applications
Service platform and Quality of Experience (QoE) studies
Content/context-based sensing, routing, and networking
Incentives and mechanism design
Security and privacy protection
Novel hardware and sensor design for contact-free sensing
Data reduction, inference and mining for contact-free sensing
Experience with real-world deployments and applications
Context reasoning models/algorithms for contact-free sensing
Signal processing techniques for contact-free sensing
Cloud-ready network architecture and management;
Federated Management of Cloud computing platforms;
Mobile-aware cloud databases, data retrievals;
Resource description, measurement, and accounting;
Mobile cloud computing models, infrastructures, and approaches;
Managing variability in mobile cloud computing;
Application specific management framework, algorithms, and protocols;
Interoperability between private and public Cloud management;
