The primary purpose of the 2014 GRC on Phosphorylation and G Protein-mediated Signaling Networks is to bring together leading innovators and early stage investigators to facilitate the exchange of ideas, challenge dogma, and develop productive collaborations to enhance scientific discovery. The program draws upon scientists with a wide range of interests in different properties, systems, and components of signal transduction pathways. Presentations will explore molecular mechanisms and signaling networks underlying diverse aspects of physiology and pathology. The focus will be on unpublished research. We will stress new strategies to decipher formerly intractable problems in signal transduction and include pathways of great physiological impact that are under-explored.
