The Environmental health effects of Persistent Toxic Substances (PTS) have been caused great concern and are becoming a very hot scientific research issues during recent years. Focused on their long distance transportation, surface effects and mechanism, bioaccumulation and biomagnification, degradation and toxicology, a lot of new research results and achievements have been obtained by scientists worldwide. The “5th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances” promises to be more exciting than the past events.
