In conjunction with the tenth anniversary celebration of Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS), PHBS will host the inaugural Global Deans' Forum (GDF or Forum) in Shenzhen from 23 October to 25 October 2014 at the new PHBS campus building.
This invitation-only event will convene deans and presidents from eminent global business schools and their broader stakeholder groups in the global business community - including senior business leaders, thought and practice leaders and senior policymakers from the region - to explore the provisional theme of "Connecting China to the World; Bringing the World to China - The Role of Business Schools.”
The Forum aims to bring together this select group of about 200 international participants to engage in constructive and open dialogue with one another to bring out practical, fresh insights and Asian perspectives on critical global developments, trends and shifts which will impact business and management education in the new global economy.
Spanning one-and-a-half intensive days, the Forum will feature an engaging mix of keynote addresses, plenary expert panel discussions, parallel track thematic discussions, a networking lunch, and a closing dinner. There will also be an optional one-day program featuring a company visit to a leading Chinese enterprise followed by a half-day of social activities. Participants will be able to experience the sights and attractions of Shenzhen, one of China's most dynamic and vibrant cities; and take part in PHBS’ 10th anniversary celebrations.
Join us at the inaugural Global Deans' Forum this fall in Shenzhen and be part of this exciting discussion to shape the future landscape of business and management education in Asia.
