We are pleased to announce Cold Spring Harbor Asia conference on Protein Modification & Homeostasis which will be held at the Suzhou Dushu Lake Conference Center in Suzhou, China, located approximately 60 miles west of Shanghai. The conference will begin at 7:00pm on the evening of Monday June 16, and will conclude after lunch on June 20, 2014. The conference will include eight oral sessions and one poster session covering the latest findings across many topics in protein biology. Many talks will be selected from the openly submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance. Social events throughout the conference provide ample opportunity for informal interactions. Protein modification by ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like proteins plays indispensable roles in protein homeostasis. The meeting is intended to provide a format for the exchange of ideas and information in related to current studies on the structure, regulation and function of the ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like protein modification systems in biology and human diseases, as well as protein degradation by autophagy and the ubiquitin-proteasome system. The meeting will cover, but not be limited to, the following main topics.
