Liquid crystal elastomers are an emerging class of soft materials of great scientific and technological imortance.International Liquid Crystal Elastomer Conference (ILCEC) is a biennial international conference dedicated to this dynamic field.We will hold the 7th International Liquid Crystal Elastomer Conference on September 10th-12th, 2013, Shanghai, China. Following the tradition of the previous meetings, the conference will bring together physicists, chemists, and engineers active in the field of liquid crystal elastomers. Experimental, theoretical, and technical issues will be discussed through talks (invited and contributed) as well as poster presentations.
