The 62nd Gordon Research Conference on Natural Products will continue the practice of featuring vibrant and diverse presentations on the leading edge of natural products synthesis, methodology development, isolation, structure elucidation and importance in drug discovery. This premier conference will feature speakers and attendees from academia and industry to share insights in the latest developments in the field of natural products synthesis and progress in synthetic methodology, application to drug discovery, chemical biology, and broadly the field of organic synthesis. The Natural Products conference provides an ideal opportunity towards presenting unpublished work by both established and emerging young investigators; the outstanding list of speakers for 2013 will continue to reinforce this aspect.
The meeting will be held in the same location as last year, Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire. The site offers a relaxed and comfortable setting that is ideally suited for rigorous scientific discussions as well as abundant opportunity for recreation.
Consistent with previous meetings, poster sessions will be held on consecutive days, and represent an indispensable constituent of the scientific success and social dialogue at the Natural Products GRC. Thus, all conferees are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentation. Abstracts (1 page maximum) with title, authors and affiliation(s)/address(es) should be submitted to the 2013 Chair, Rajinder Singh, and the 2013 Vice Chair, Michael Calter as part of formal application through the GRC online site. Posters will be selected for short talks to be presented by their primary authors during the conference.
The Chair and Vice Chair look forward to your involvement at this highly anticipated and important meeting. Your valuable and scientifically stimulating interactions will further enrich the reputation of the NP GRC and continue the proud tradition of this meeting.
