In the B2C electronic ecommerce environment, express logistic plays a key role in connecting the supply chain members to consumers, which insures the operation and performance of the whole supply chain smooth and robust. However, the imperfect express logistic system in practice shows a great gap with the maturity of the theory of the supply chain management and in the related areas. This special workshop is aimed to provide a platform for worldwide researchers to share the latest research work in supply chain management and the related areas, to identify the new research problems related express logistic, and to apply the maturity theories to express logistic issues.
