Since 1992, the Bioorganic Chemistry Gordon Research Conference has brought together scientists from a wide range of disciplines at the interface between chemistry and biology. Our participants comprise industrial and academic scientists from all over the world who convene to discuss cutting-edge research. The conference emphasizes the presentation of techniques and approaches that are broadly applicable, including small molecule probes that modulate or mimic cellular processes and molecular-level studies of biological systems. The meeting in 2013 will showcase sessions in the areas of proteomics and epigenetics, medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, chemical biology, molecular imaging, synthetic biology, natural products, nucleic acids, and carbohydrates.
Virtually all conferees participate by either speaking or presenting a poster, thereby creating a lively and engaging environment. Poster presenters should submit an abstract with their applications on the GRC web site. A number of poster presenters will be invited to give short talks. Given the popularity of this meeting, submission of applications by early 2013 is strongly encouraged.
