2013 International Workshop on Advancing Materials Performance from the Nanoscale, the 6th workshop held in China by CAMP-Nano, a series started in Beijing in 2008, will accept abstract submission from April 1st to April 30th. Until now thirty-one invited speakers from such districts as USA, Japan, Denmark, Australia, Saudi Arab, China Taiwan, Hong Kong are confirmed to attend this workshop and deliver the speeches on the related scientific fields. The main goal of this workshop is to bring together a lineup of well-known scientists, researchers and engineers to review recent achievements, discuss the current puzzles and share the visions for the future of advancing materials performance from the nanoscale as well as the developments of state-of-art instruments that enable such explorations, with an emphasis on nano-mechanics and in situ TEM related topics. The content includes but not limited to experimental, theoretical and computational studies of traditional materials, bio materials, energy and battery related materials et al. The workshop will begin with full day tutorial on Nanomechanics and Environmental TEM at the conference hotel on June 11, 2013. The following days, June 12-14, 2013, will consist of full days of seminars. The opening reception banquet on June 11 from 7:00pm to 8:30 pm, the breakfast, lunch and dinner on June 12-14 are included with the workshop’s registration fee. This workshop will provide a wonderful opportunity to learn the basic knowledge of the proposed topics, communicate with a strong lineup of internationally recognized invited speakers, talk face to-face with well-established researchers and scientists on their most recent works and be updated on state-of-art technologies by leading industry manufacturers.
