Recently, the Convergence of broadcasting and broadband communications receives much attention to efficiently push contents. Generally, broadcasting system provides public service, such as TV programs, popular radios and videos. In contrast, broadband communication systems, such as 3G and 4G, mainly focus on personalized service in which every subscriber can occupy unique resources (time or frequency). Though subscribers have different demands, some services can be shared in common within a number of subscribers at the same time, which makes broadcasting a more efficient way for content delivery. This workshop is expected to bring together both academic and industrial researchers to study the major challenges related to interworking of broadcasting and mobile communications. This workshop will be held in conjunction with IEEE WCNC 2013 on April 7-9th, 2013 in Shanghai, China.
