Renewable energy and power engineering are crucial to address global energy and climate challenges. The increasing energy demand, coupled with the need to reduce carbon emissions, has created a pressing need for clean and sustainable energy sources. Renewable energy technologies, such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and bioenergy, have emerged as a viable alternative to traditional fossil fuels. Power engineering focuses on the design, operation, and optimization of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. It plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our energy infrastructure.

As annual conference, REPE has been held in Toronto (2018 and 2019), converted as Virtual Conference (2020, 2021, 2022), Beijing (2023) successfully. 2024 7th International Conference on Renewable Energy and Power Engineering (REPE) will be held in Beijing, China during September 25-27, 2024, co-sponsored by Tsinghua University and IEEE, hosted by the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University, co-hosted by Institute of Engineering Thermophysics(Chinese Academy of Sciences).

The REPE conference covers a broad range of topics, including renewable energy technologies, power generation, transmission and distribution systems, energy storage, and energy efficiency. The conference provides opportunities for researchers, engineers, academicians, and industrial professionals from around the world to present their research results and development activities in renewable energy and power engineering. The conference includes keynote speeches, technical presentations, poster sessions, and workshops, and provides exceptional value for students, academics, and industry researchers.
